Aletyx Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Aletyx, Inc. (“Aletyx,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and shares personal data when you visit aletyx.com or its subdomains, use the Aletyx AI Assistant or other Aletyx online services, or otherwise interact with us. It does not apply to third-party websites or services linked from our sites, and it does not replace any separate agreement between you or your organization and Aletyx, including the Aletyx Subscription Terms or an agreement executed through an Order Form. If a separate agreement addresses data handling, that agreement controls for the data it covers.

1. Data We Collect

Contact and account data. Name, email address, company, and similar details you provide when you create an account, contact us, register for events or content, or subscribe to communications.

Billing data. When you purchase a subscription, our payment processor (Stripe) collects your payment information. We receive transaction records and billing contact details; we do not store full payment card numbers.

Agreement records. When you accept our terms at checkout or in our products, we record the acceptance, including the email, timestamp, IP address, and the version of the terms accepted. We keep these records to document the agreement.

Service content. When you use the Aletyx AI Assistant, you may submit prompts, files, and other content, and the service generates output. Our Subscription Terms prohibit submitting personal data to the AI Assistant other than the business contact information of authorized users. We handle service content as described in the Subscription Terms: we do not use it to train or fine-tune machine learning models, and we do not permit our third-party model providers to use it to train or improve their models.

Usage and device data. Log data such as IP address, browser and device information, pages visited, and actions taken in our sites and services, collected directly or through cookies and similar technologies as described in our Cookie Policy.

2. How We Use Data

We use personal data to provide, secure, support, and improve our sites and services; to process payments and manage accounts; to communicate with you, including responding to inquiries and, where permitted, sending marketing you can opt out of; to document and enforce our agreements; to detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents; and to comply with law.

We share personal data with service providers that support our business, such as cloud hosting, payment processing, AI model providers, analytics, and communications tools, in each case as needed to provide their services to us and subject to appropriate obligations. We may disclose personal data to comply with law or legal process, to protect the rights, safety, or property of Aletyx, our customers, or others, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets. We do not sell personal data for money. Some cookie-based analytics or advertising may be considered “sharing” or targeted advertising under certain U.S. state laws; you can control these through Cookie Settings on our site.

4. Retention

We keep personal data for as long as needed for the purposes described above. Agreement records are retained for the life of the relationship and any period needed to address legal claims. Service content is handled as described in the Subscription Terms, which do not obligate us to store or retain it. We may retain data as required by law and may keep aggregated or de-identified information that no longer identifies anyone.

5. International Transfers

We are a U.S. company and process data in the United States and in other locations where we or our service providers operate. Where applicable law requires safeguards for international transfers, we will implement appropriate mechanisms, such as standard contractual clauses.

6. Your Choices and Rights

You can opt out of marketing email using the unsubscribe link in any message. You can manage cookies through Cookie Settings on our site. Depending on where you live, you may have rights under applicable law to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data. To make a request, including a request to delete your account, email [email protected]. We will verify your request and respond as required by applicable law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children

Our sites and services are intended for business use and are not directed to individuals under sixteen (16). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

9. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy by posting a revised version at this page with a new effective date. Material changes will be announced by email or in-product notice where appropriate.
